Mountain Tea House
Kyoto, Japan Open · Year round 124 welcomed
Tea master, mother of two, keeper of slow mornings.
The story of this home
This home opened its doors three years ago, after a winter when a stranger sheltered me from a snowstorm. I promised her I would pass on the warmth. Today these walls have welcomed travelers, healers, students, mothers, and quiet souls — each one leaving a little light behind.
What you can receive here
Always free. Always given with love.

- Share a meal, share a story, share silence.
- Treat the home and every soul with dignity.
- Gifts are welcome but never expected.
- Leave the space a little brighter than you found it.
Gratitude wall
Soft echoes from souls who passed through.
Thank you for the candle by my bed on the first night. I'll never forget it. 🍀
You taught me that warmth is a practice, not a feeling. 💚
The morning soup. The silence. The garden. Bless this home.
Chain of warmth
Every gift sent with love — verified, on-chain, transparent.
Guest reflections
I came tired and left held. The tea ceremony on the second morning rewired something in me.
Free stay, free meals, free heart. I'm hosting in Milan now because of this home.
